2000 Land Rover Discovery Series II

This is the Cindy Crawford of used Discoverys: it is an absolutely beautiful truck in terrific condition that flat brings smiles to everyone face when they see it, BUT...like Cindy's facial mole, this truck's flaw is a salvage title. Now don'y stop reading: I do not sell anything less than 100% safe and reliable vehicles, so allow me to explain. A few months ago the owner of the truck was involved in a minor traffic accident that resulted in the following damage, and ONLY this damage: a broken bumper, a broken headlight, a broken turnsignal, a broken headlight trim, a 3" dent on the edge of the hood and a 2" dent on the front of the fender, and a bent headlight support bucket. However, at retail prices, a full repair of these issues could easily run over $3000, which means for a vehicle of this age, the insurance company prefers to total the vehicle out and wash their hands of it rather than pay for repairs. We absolutely guarantee that there is no structural damage that would compromise the safety or durability for any reason and we will encourage perspective buyers to have their own careful inspection done to verify. So why bother? Because this is such an excellent example of about the best Discovery's ever made that it makes no sense to scrap it. The extraordinary LOW MILEAGE is confirmed in every way by its condition, inside, out and under the hood. Head gaskets and water pump have been done and maintenance was always up to date and done by Bear Valley. The headliner has been replaced and the leather is excellent. The paint just shines throughout more like a 7 year old than a 17 year old! Tires and brakes are 66% or better. All the bodywork has been done to a high standard and only a few minor defects remain apparent. This is a real "must see" but a terrific opportunity for those willing to take the time...
